West Lafayette, IN. Today, April 10, 2008, Lighthouse Productions announces that the beta version of their game is fully complete and now playable on their website (see link). Today, they are also conducting their usibility testing at 1:30 in Knoy. Data will be collected immediately and will be meeting with their statistical consultant. Data analysis will continue through the weekend. The full completion of this project is in sight! Just a reminder, our final presentation is Wednesday, April 16 in MRGN 121 at 11:00! Don't miss out! Lighthouse productions has now officially sold out of all of it's shares of stock, but for those of you that missed out, fret not. A request has been made for additional shares to be issued. If and when they become available, an additional press release will be issued. With audio now applied to Samantha's Island Adventure, LHP is one step closer to final testing of their product... and it sounds pretty good too ;) Testing will commence on April 10th with analysis by the LHP team and a member of Purdue's statistical department soon to follow. We are proud to announce that our game production is nearing completion. Voice recording for the narration of the game is occuring today. Final characters are completed and animations of those characters are in progress. Testing of our final product is scheduled for Thursday, April 10, 2008, from 1:30p.m. til 2:30p.m. We cordially invite you to attend our final presentation, which is Wednesday, April 16, 2008, from 11:00a.m. til noon. Lighthouse Productions will be making a public presentation of our research project at the Undergraduate Research and Poster Symposium on Monday, March 31, 2008. Our company still has stock for sale!

Yesterday, Lighthouse Productions met another one of it's milestones. Storyboards have been completed for the "Samantha's Song" flash game and animation is soon to follow. Two of our game programming intrinsics are nearly completed and our third is in the works. It has been another busy week in the world of Lighthouse Productions. We have continued to move forward on the production of Samantha's Song, the adventure game for children with Spina Bifida. With the script completed, work on storyboards, final character development and final interface design is already under way. We already have one IRB for usability testing and are expecting a second for testing on elementary school children. Stock is now available for sale. Lighthouse productions is proud to announce that we have received a GO on our project, "Samantha's Song". We will continue to develop our Flash based learning game on Spina Bifida over the next coming weeks, and focus our research on how children identifying with game characters affects cognitive learning.
